ABOUT ME

Bella_Kwong-ANI-v1.jpg

Hi, I'm Bella Kwong! I am a 3D Animator from the San Francisco Bay Area.

Currently, I'm a Creative Development & Production Intern at Vega24, a video ad agency. I bring my creative skills to live-action by storyboarding videos and sourcing style references.

I'm also a 3D Animator and Marketing Manager on "Sticky Fingers," an SJSU thesis film. I love animation's collaborative process. Feedback pushes the work forward, and balancing both sides has sharpened my time management under tight deadlines.

Beyond the creative side, I've pursued internships to understand the full production pipeline. In Summer 2024, I was a Production Intern at Paramount Animation, shadowing art reviews and analyzing film data. That led me to WORTHI, where I adapted my production skills to social media marketing as a Creative Production Intern. I learned to always consider the audience's perspective, a principle I carry into animation.

I'm active in the animation community as the Social Media Assistant for Asians in Animation (AIA), former Social Media Coordinator for the SJSU Shrunkenheadman Club, and a member of Women in Animation (WIA).

I believe art is a universal medium that inspires change. My goal is to continue using my creativity and problem-solving skills on projects that bring people together. I hope to spread inspiring stories with diverse characters and promote activism through my animated work.
